Alberta Rural Entrepreneur program:
The Rural Entrepreneur Stream is an economic immigration program. Entrepreneurs who want to start a business or buy an existing business in a rural Alberta community can submit an Expression of Interest. This program has a minimum investment requirement of only CAD $200,000.00 and leads to Permanent Residency for the business investor and his/her family including spouse and dependent children.

Self Employed Business Immigration:
The Self-employed Persons Program allows an individual to immigrate to Canada permanently as a self-employed person.
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics and
- be willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada
Cultural activities include jobs generally seen as part of Canada’s artistic and cultural fields. Examples include:
- authors and writers,
- creative and performing artists,
- musicians,
- painters,
- sculptors and other visual artists,
- technical support and other jobs in motion pictures,
- creative designers and craftspeople

International Mobility Program
This is a program specifically made to benefit Canadian employers. The International Mobility Program lets the Canadian employer hire a temporary worker without a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). In most cases, employers must submit an offer of employment through the IRCC employer portal. After your part is done, the temporary foreign worker can apply for a work permit to come to Canada and work for the Canadian employer.

C11 Work Permit
Applicants who want to come to Canada to operate their own businesses for a short duration and provide significant economic benefit to Canada, apply for C11 work permits. C11 is the administrative LMIA exemption code that covers the work of certain foreign nationals entering Canada to run their own business, which will create significant benefits.

How to prepare a business plan
To apply for any of the above-mentioned business applications, it’s imperative that the applicants must have strong business plan, that not only shows how the business can be successful in Canada, but also demonstrates that how the applicant and business fulfil the specific eligibility criteria of the program they are applying under.
A strong and clearly written business plan can be a tipping factor convincing the immigration officer to approve the business immigration application.
